SOCIAL - building friendships and getting on with people
MENTAL - thinking positively towards self, others and the community
SPIRITUAL - belief systems that guide morals, values, attributes etc
MEDICAL - not having illness and disease
All these elements are inter-linked and naturally effect each other. It is important to adopt the whole concept of health and fitness. This will include, promotion of daily exercise, healthy eating, overall wellness, recreational activity, socialising and ways of generally creating an overall healthy lifestyle.
Today, with an astounding number of reports about increasing obesity rates, diseases and conditions related to being overweight and out-of-shape, it is impossible to ignore the importance of fitness and well-being in our lives.
